  1. Three years ago I purchased a beautiful leather recliner from Pat’s Pizazz in Torrington, CT. Since day one I have had trouble with a wire. Pat sent her boys out and they wiggled the wire near the on off button. It came on but not for long. When I called her back she referred me to your company. I ordered what I thought was the right wire from your catalog online. Turned out they sent me the wrong one. To make a long story short we have a beautiful chair that doesn’t power on if you move the wires near the off on light. We have been fooling around with this wire for a long time and I am tired of it. Not sure what to do.

    1. Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience—I’m really sorry to hear about the ongoing trouble with your recliner. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to invest in a beautiful chair and still be dealing with a power issue years later.

It sounds like the problem may be a loose or damaged connection either at the switch itself or within the wiring harness. Since you’ve already tried replacing the wire and are still having to wiggle it to get power, it’s likely either the switch or the internal connection point that’s the issue. In many cases, a replacement switch or a complete wiring kit that matches your chair’s model can solve the problem for good.

If you’re open to it, feel free to email us a photo of the recliner’s control panel, wiring, and any identifying labels underneath the chair—we’d be happy to help you identify the correct part. We can also guide you step-by-step through installation or recommend a technician if needed.

You deserve a recliner that works every time. Let’s finally get this fixed for you.

      Warm regards,
      Rob from SitBackLounge.com
